I’m looking for a good camera this snowboarding season. I want it to take clear video(hd perfered, but im on a budget). I dont want to spend much more then 400 dollars

i would say a action sport camera go to best buy and say im looking for an action sport camera they’ll give you exactly what your looking for
I will use it for filming people skateboarding and snowboarding mostly, so i want to be able to buy a lense for it.
Go with Sony — and get a waterproof housing for it. If you can afford it, consider the CX12. If you’re on a tight budget, the models that use Mini DV tapes are usually the least expensive.
For editing Windows Movie Maker (XP and Vista) is a good place to start. Sony Vegas Pro is the high end of the spectrum.

i am making a snowboarding video and i want one of those cameras that has a fish eye effect. Do i need a specific camera or can i just use a video edditing software?
You can use a video editing software. Just add a pinch filter and blur the edges in a circular pattern. Then blur the outline. Or, you can buy the lens specifically for your camera online or something.
