What kind of video camera should i buy?
I will use it for filming people skateboarding and snowboarding mostly, so i want to be able to buy a lense for it.
Go with Sony — and get a waterproof housing for it. If you can afford it, consider the CX12. If you’re on a tight budget, the models that use Mini DV tapes are usually the least expensive.
For editing Windows Movie Maker (XP and Vista) is a good place to start. Sony Vegas Pro is the high end of the spectrum.
Version 9 will be released next month.

You get the same one on amazon and ebay but it is a little more expensive there. This is the one going around in the market right now and excellent to record fast motion videos.
